Specimen Processor
SPECIMEN PROCESSOR - ENTRY LEVEL! Kelly Healthcare Resources currently has a part-time, contract opportunity available for a Specimen Processor to come and join our premier clinical laboratory services client located in Bridgeton, MO! As the Specimen Processor with a company that provides fast, exceptionally accurate and comprehensive laboratory, toxicology and genetics testing, you'll be responsible for the overall processing of human urine and fluid specimens.
In this role, you'll prepare samples for shipping, ensuring their secure and shipped to the correct laboratory.
It will also be your duty to handle patient medical records with complete accuracy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities:
o Process human urine and fluid specimens o Access specimens and verify information on requisitions and specimen matches o Maintain specimen integrity o Accurately enter appropriate information into the computer system o Bar code and aliquot specimens with appropriate speed and accuracy o Complete patient processing log o Work with patient records to transfer insurance and address info to the laboratory request form o Transfer fluids from one container to another for security of shipping o Prepare samples for shipping to the laboratory on a daily basis o File daily/monthly/annual records o Complete initial credentialing requirements and maintain annual updates o Handle patient medical records with complete confidentiality REQUIRED
Qualifications:
o High School diploma, GED or equivalent o Graduate of Certified Nursing Assistant/Medical Assistant program with 0 - 2 years relevant experience o Basic Microsoft Suite knowledge (Word, Excel and Outlook) o Flexibility to work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - 7:
30am - 5:
