As a Product Improvement Engineer - Mechanical:
What you will do:
Identify and execute product improvements and cost out opportunities on released productsCollaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Quality, and ManufacturingSelect parts, materials, and manufacturing processes to achieve reliable product function that satisfies project scope criteriaValidate concepts through analysis and testing which may include the design of test fixtures and special instrumentationDesign parts and assemblies utilizing appropriate material types and manufacturing processesLead and participate in multiple projects simultaneouslyAdditional duties as assignedRequired Qualifications Include:

years of Product Support or Project Engineering experienceBachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering with a focus on Mechanical DesignMust be a proactive, creative self-starter, and proficient with CAD (Creo preferred)Proficient in MS Office Suite (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Excellent time management and organizational skillsEffective communication skills across all levels of the organizationPreferred Qualifications Include:
3-5 years of product or machine design experienceProven Project Management experienceExperience with sheet metal design, mechanism design, machined metal parts, injection molded plastic parts, material selection, and system integrationValue Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) experienceManufacturing Engineering experienceBackground in Lean Manufacturing and RCCA through formal or relevant experienceHunter Fosters a Culture of:
