Responsibilities:
Systems include high speed corrugating machines, robotic assembly devices, conveyors, batch mixers, electrical distribution systems, boilers and building automation systems.
Thrive to ensure 2% or less maintenance downtime on the Corrugator(s).
Manage all maintenance technicians providing them with leadership and opportunities to learn and improveEnsure proper scheduling of all technicians.
Manage and maintain a cost effective preventive maintenance programSolid mix of electro-mechanical industrial maintenance, hydraulics and pneumatics, knowledge is required.
Successfully manages through clear communication on goals, training, coaching, and mentoringAll while developing them with consistent feedback, and motivation through encouragement to enable their success and establish a positive working environment.
Ability to troubleshoot/replace PLC's, VFD's, A/C motors, D/C motors, analog and digital sensors, bearings, gearboxes, and hydraulic/pneumatic componentsAbility to troubleshoot/repaired BHS, ACS roller and modular flat belt conveyors, Miura Boilers, Signode Banders, Dimplex Water Chillers, Kaeser Air Compressors, Vortex Starch Machine, Fanuc Robot, Balemaster Baler, BloApco Shredder, ALAR Wastewater Treater.
Ability to calibrate machines; electrically and mechanicallyAutomation technicians design and service control systems ranging from electromechanical devices and systems to high-speed robotics and PLCsSchedule required Preventive Maintenance on all machinery.
Schedule routine work ordersRespond to emergency work orders within established parameters of timely responseProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookExcellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of plant operations and facility managementSharing your knowledge and gaining knowledge from the rest of the team is essentialKnowledge and ability to read/interpret schematics, highly preferredExperience and compliance with OSHA regulationsSelf-motivated, dependable, punctual, and organizedDuties and responsibilities are subject to change based on business needsMinimum Qualifications and Education RequirementsAn Associate's degree from an accredited institutionA minimum of 10 years of corrugating manufacturing experienceA minimum of 5 years of prior supervisory experience, a plusExperience with the Fosber corrugator machine, a plusInterested in hearing more?
