Manufacturing Engineer

This role will join our Advanced Manufacturing team.

Experience in CAM programming for new products and prototypes
Ability to design fixturing as needed to support assembly processes for manufacturing plants

As a Manufacturing Engineer:
What you will do:

Develop laser cutting and forming CAM programs for new products and prototypes
Validate CAM programs and machine capabilities with new parts
Assist in tool lifecycle management
Design fixturing as needed to support welding, machining, and assembly processes for all manufacturing plants
Participate in discovery and deployment of capital equipment projects
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers at all manufacturing sites.

Investigate new technologies for manufacturing process needs
Capacity resource planning
Oversee tooling and equipment builds, qualifications, and implementations
Assist NPIs (DFMA)
Develop plant layouts, material flows, and infrastructure needs.

Manufacturing Technical resource for R&D Engineering
Additional duties as assigned
Up to 20-30% domestic travel required Additional Qualifications Include:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering required

years professional experience in Manufacturing or Engineering environment
Possess a technical knowledge of metalworking processes
Experience with CAM programming for lasers and press brakes
Strong leadership skills working in a collaborative environment
Proven Project Management experience
Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization
Experience performing DFMA events and assisting with NPIs
Experience with 3D CAD software in a fixture design environment, Creo preferred
2D AutoCAD LT
Proficient in GD&T and best drafting practices Preferred Qualifications Include:

Powered and manual work holding design experience
PLC diagnostics
CNC programming and operation
Manufacturing Execution System experience
