We are seeking a motivated Database Administrator to provide guidance on database configuration, architecture, and performance. This role will float between multiple application development teams and be viewed as the lead database administrator within Hunter Engineering. This position is located at our company's headquarters in Bridgeton, Missouri. Responsibilities Management of all database instances including installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance/support. Maintain the overall database integrity and quality, including routine data improvement, data auditing, practice enforcement, security and code value management, system checks, and database functions Provide insight into data quality and recommending solutions to help resolve issues. Assist in production emergencies. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a computer related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3

years of Microsoft SQL database experience Experience with automation of DBA tasks Experience adjusting queries to enhance performance, standard database migration techniques and tools and data pipelines Experience with ETL and SSIS packages Experience championing SQL best practices Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent problem-solving skills Additional Preferred
Qualifications:
Knowledge of deployment pipelines in a Continuous Integration environment Knowledge of cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure services preferred) Knowledge of monitoring tools Knowledge of Agile methodologies Strong interest in emerging technologies
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
