We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineering Manager for our Engineering operations at our headquarters in Bridgeton, MO. Responsibilities Manage, development and drive the mechanical engineering team through entire product life cycle Responsible for day-to-day project management and task assignments/workloads for multiple mechanical engineers Work cross functionally with other teams and groups - mechanical engineers, systems engineering, manufacturing, operations, procurement, etc. Evaluate and consistently look to improve the engineering development processes and procedures Drive continuous improvement for performance and customer satisfaction Train, mentor, and develop less experienced team members with an emphasis on career and talent development; provide guidance during initial design process Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required. 7-10 years of experience within machine design; 3-5 years of primary design experience required Must have 5-10 years or more management experience leading a team of engineers Must have experience with casting, plastics, mechanism design and hydraulics Demonstrated experience in complex electro-mechanical components Patent/Intellectual property experience is a plus Hands on experience with cross functional teams internally and working with key suppliers Exceptional presentation, written, and verbal communication skills Proactive self-starter with strong sense of creativity Proven track record of managing timelines and long/short term assignments Thrive in a fast-paced team environment
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Mechanical EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
