An American global diversified industrial company is currently seeking a Production Supervisor responsible for implementing and driving change in a high volume, fast-paced, lean manufacturing environment in Bridgeton, MO. This is a 6 month CONTRACT position, with the possibility of extension. Local candidates only, no per diem available. Must be flexible to work all shifts.
Responsibilities for the Production Supervisor
Responsible for overall performance of assigned work group, including safety, quality, cost and output schedule performance
Proactive support of plantwide safety program
Identify opportunities for improvement
Requirements for the Production Supervisor
BS Degree required
Manufacturing experience
In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (Toyota Production Systems) preferred
Supervisory experience preferred
